I love this coffee Jul 16, 2010
I discovered this coffee about a year ago on a business trip. I loved its bold earthy flavor and was happy to find it at the local super market until they (or Starbucks) stopped stocking it. Thank you Amazon for being the facilitator to my vice (coffee). Now me and the misses will have big smiles again on those late weekend mornings as the house fills with the beautiful aroma of this coffee once more. If you like full bodied coffee, I would highly recommend you give this coffee a try. Hint, follow Starbucks brewing instructions for this coffee, it really makes the difference between a great and AWESOME cup of coffee. Enjoy!!

This is one of my favorites of Starbuck blends. Its in the extra bold catergory. One of the nicest and mellow, strong tasting. Will buy again.

Best coffee Starbucks has. Only found it here at Amazon. One Starbuck rep at a store told me it didn't exist!! Great price, although when I signed up for automatic delivery and a discount was added, Amazon sent me a email informing me that is was no longer available as a recurring delivery. However, I could still buy it at the "other" price. Felt like I was being jacked but I like the coffee so I'll live with it.

As a 33yr old I am new to drinking coffee & just a month ago I started to try several coffees from near by deli, Dunkin Donuts, homemade & so on. All were not to my liking until recently while in Atlantic City, NJ I stayed @ the Sheraton Hotel and came across Africa Kitamu. I have never thought I would find such great coffee; so smooth and with no watery or bitter taste. I enjoyed it so much I was determined to buy a bag @ Starbucks when returning home. I basically went on a quest and visited several supermarkets, Starbucks stores and even visited Starbucks website and just my luck, NO Africa Kitamu. Eventually, I went further in my quest and decided to google Africa Kitamu and on the top of the web page was Starbucks Africa Kitamu @ Amazon.com. I was so excited that I immediately ordered my batch and am looking forward to start drinking my coffee. Thanks Amazon!!!
The Best Coffee I have ever Tasted! Feb 26, 2010
Amazon is the only place I have found to purchase Africa Kitamu. As far as I know, it cannot be purchased at Starbucks. If you like a bold coffee, you will love this one. I do wish it was available in a whole bean so I could grind it fresh myself.
