Closely beats Starbucks Jul 22, 2010
I am big fan of Starbucks which raised the coffee consumption and the awareness of coffee quality in America. Prior to Starbucks, most people were content with low grade instant coffee. But before Starbucks really took off, the Dunkin Donuts coffee were considered by many the best mass marketed coffee in America.
I live in California and there are no Dunkin Donuts here (Bummer!). So I drank Starbucks contently and its Gold Coast blend still remains as one of my favorites. Then I decided to try this Dunkin Donuts original coffee and I am glad I did.
This coffee is very flavorful. It is hazelnutty beyond hazelnutty yet the flavor hides a potent rush of caffeine that belies its temperate aroma. In sum, this coffee is tasty but powerful. Now I know what I mean when people say Starbucks roasts its coffee too dark.
In comparison to Starbuck's Gold Coast Blend, this coffee is definitely milder and doesn't quite have the kick. But this coffee is more refined and has a strong nutty flavor. Whereas the Gold Coast is like a muscle car, this coffee is like a BMW. I still drink both and recommend both.
If you haven't tried this coffee, I recommend it. The price is slightly higher than Starbucks, but I think the quality of these coffee beans is slightly higher as well.

Good coffee Feb 13, 2009
I've never been to a Dunkin Donuts store. I don't even know where one is within 100 miles of my house. But a few months ago I bought their whole bean coffee at my local Wal-Mart and was most impressed. The medium roast coffee is robust yet smooth and is good for both a morning "cup of joe" and an after dinner cup of coffee (with or without the Bushmills). I usually keep 5 or 6 different coffees around the house for variety and I have added Dunkin Donuts blend to the collection.

This is the kind of coffee you can drink all day! Smooth, no bite, robust without being harsh and SO consistent in taste from one pot to the next. You have to drink more than one pot before you come to realize that this is just about the best coffee EVER!

Dunkin Donuts Coffee is the very best coffee I have ever drank. My wife and I have tried lots of Coffee, but we always come back to Dunkin Donuts coffee. It is especially good if you buy the whole bean and grind it yourself. In our opinion, it is way better than the other leading brands.
