Liked it so much I bought a second one Jul 08, 2010
After spilling a cup of tea on the keyboard of my notebook computer, I decided to buy a wide-bottomed mug (and a new computer, unfortunately). This mug does exactly what I wanted and expected, in terms of being hard to tip over (the wide bottom), and not spilling if it does tip over (cap on the top that still allows you to drink). I bought a second one so I could have one in home and office. (I also re-arranged my desk and I don't put drinks near the computer.)

this is the best travel mug I've found, ceramic, not plastic or stainless, microwave safe, suited more for a mans hand, just feels good in your hand while your driving an hour to work in the morning.

Despite thier high price I ordered 2 of these mugs. I don't have cup holders in my car, and I was tired of spilling my coffee. These mugs certainly fixed that problem, and soon became my mug of choice around the house as well. The ceramic isn't heat insulating, but the top helps maintain the heat.
Granted, ceramic has its pros and cons. After years of travel, I equate ceramic with a relaxing cup of coffee. I like to feel the hot coffee in my hands, and I find I don't burn myself as often with a ceramic mug as I did with a Stainless one. The Quality seems much higher than with stainless mugs, and I can microwave this one. As obvious at it sounds, this mug is fragile, and will break easily. I easily broke the handle off of one, and smashed the other entirely about 4 months later.
On the bright side, I coerced my husband to superglue the handle back onto the one I use, and I will be ordering 2 more. The only thing that has stoped me from ordering sooner is the relatively high price, and the extremely high shipping cost.
It would be a great mug for boaters or anyone who doesn't have a cup holder.

This was a gift to my husband and he loves it. We were thrilled to find it on Amazon, had been unsuccessful in finding one before this. We definately would buy again.
